- Neale Donald Walsch

This is a vision board that I put together this past summer while Dan was away for six weeks. I had a lot of time for self-reflection and really concentrated on the recurring visions I have for my future. Here's what I came up with:
{aiming for a wedding in the next year or so and a "round two" wedding set..."round one" didn't work out for many reasons}
-beautiful home
{one of my biggest goals is to own a house that we make into our home}
-family silhouette
{building a family together when the time is right}
-piggy bank
{financial security is irreplaceable; my goal is to continue to save and invest in order to experience life comfortably}
-suitcase
{i dream of traveling the world & capturing the essence of different places and people}
-chocolate lab puppy
{animals are a must in my life}
-nature
{taking time to be outdoors is important to my soul}
-dove ladies
{feeling happy with my healthy body and comfortable in my own skin is always a--worthwhile--work in progess}
-home office
{no matter what career path i take, primarily working from home is a goal; to me it feels like a good work-life balance}
-swedish tea ring
{i am s.l.o.w.l.y becoming a master of my mom's swedish tea ring cardamom sweet bread on christmas morning}
-"it is ok for me to have everything i want"
{this quote reminds me that i don't always have to choose between one thing and another; we really can have all that we want, so long as we are willing to work hard enough to get it}
Since July when I made this vision board, I have continued to save 10% of every paycheck, I have begun to take better care of my body, I baked a pretty tasty version of my mom's bread, I visited Washington D.C., New Hampshire, and Vermont, I spent a lot of time in the parks (during the nicer weather), narrowed down my ring choices, and have made significant headway into choosing a career. So even though it's a freezing cold Tuesday, Dan will be in a performance until after my bedtime, and I still don't have amazing abs....I feel pretty okay :)
