on the shady side of the street... we live next to inwood park and these gorgeous trees line our side of the street. i'm so grateful to have such lush green nature so close to our home!


carrot top bakery is literally right outside of our building! it's super nice and they have delectable treats and yummy sandwiches! i'll try to sneak a picture of the goods at night so i don't look like a stalker...though they might as well face the facts.

there is also a pilates studio on the other side of our building...but who needs a picture of that?


dan and i went on a mini-circle line cruise around the island of manhattan with all the juilliard students. lessons learned that evening: irish people are hilarious and absolutely can handle more liquor than americans, dancers (especially juilliard dancers) are actually crazy folks on the dance floor, face left otherwise you're staring at the jersey shore while everyone is seeing pretty manhattan :)

dan started school today and i'm offically on the PROWL for a job! we're feeling more like home sweet home every day :)

p.s. we're buying an air bed and will be accepting all visitors!
