there must be a place where people don't scream.
where families are fair
and love pours over life
like fresh maple syrup over blueberry pancakes.
in this place it rains
yet the hems of pants never get wet
people aren't cold
or hungry
they marry who they love.
this place has fluffy white marshmallow clouds
people vacation up there
mothers, daughters, fathers, and sons
they are happy to be in each other's lives.
there must be a place where people don't scream.
where families are fair.
and no one is caught in the middle.
you are a wonderful poet. i really like this
ReplyDeleteI've heard and even read about this place. It's called Heaven baby :) I don't remember reading about marshmellow clouds...but I'm sure someone up there can arrange that when the time comes. Love you baby- I'm here for you always.
