Then this weekend we made a quick trip to DC to visit Master Craig! So many tassles this time of year and I just love it. We walked all around the National Mall and stopped into several Smithonian Museums and the National Archives. It was the first time after a loooonnnng winter that we felt the humidity and 80 degree heat of the East Coast. Needless to say we were sweaty but happy to be with friends in such an awesome city.

Now it's one crazy week of finishing work for me, an audition for Dan, packing, cleaning, birthday partying, and goodbye-ing as we wrap up our New York City lives and head west to California. I'm so excited for this next chapter in our lives and yet it feels bittersweet to leave our friends and the life we built here on the East Coast. Having family and old friends around us will be wonderful. Not to mention the California weather! This will be my first time living in the Bay Area in six years! Seeing my hometown through adult eyes will be strange but lovely, too.
I know I'll be sporadic with this blog as we have a very full summer ahead of us but I hope to check in often!
