one hot mess of a post

As my dear Chrissy can attest, life is sometimes more comprehensible and clearer when simplified to a list. Behold, my list of most random thoughts on this cold December night:

-one should probably tell their house guest that they put their papa john's pizzas in the oven before that certain house guest preheats the oven for french fries

-one should perhaps nonchalantly mention to that same someone that whitey tighties don't belong on my towel

-i get weird looks from people when i carry home "picked up" pizzas. it's as if everyone in new york always has cash and never has a problem paying the extra money for a tip.

-being newly unweds in the middle of this recession is a fabulous opportunity to be creative (read cheap!) but keeping my spirits up through out it is something on which i need to work

-papa john's pizza box expressed better grammar than most of the people i see on a daily basis

-i miss having the confidence that comes from performing on a stage

-my job makes me excited to go back to school so i can learn more and expand my mind and life

-dan and i sing in the shower. we laugh out loud about who gets the harmony. i'm so lucky he's my fiance. in the midst of my twenties, while i face the world for the first time independent of an institution, while i fight to find and capture my passion, while i bundle up for my first real winter, i have dan. he outstretched his hand so long ago and i am so thankful i accepted it. he accepts me and loves me despite my quirks and emotional waves. i love him so much :)

-it snowed in danville and i missed it! wtf.

-things i need to blog about: my mom and mike getting married, the lost symbol by dan brown, quotations, my life in scrubs
